This simply means we use nature as our primary classroom
Students will learn using hands-on projects focused on the process of discovery vs. the end result
Combining subjects so learning feels connected and makes sense in the real world
Teachers team with naturalists, artists and other community members so students and instructors learn from each other
Giving teachers the quality, uninterrupted time to plan, visualize and inspire
Learning year-round is more equitable, keeps students engaged on their learning paths avoiding stagnant summer gaps and allows teachers to take breaks to avoid burnout
